Physician Referral

In the state of Oregon, patients may see a Physical Therapist for up to 60 days without a physician’s referral.  However, many insurers require a doctor’s script for reimbursement, so please contact your insurance company to be aware of your PT benefits.  Also, all car accident claims require a physician’s prescription and an open medical claim at the time of the PT evaluation. Even if you do not have a script, I find a team approach to wellness invaluable and will be happy to collaborate with your other health care providers.
